Leave at Front Door
Leave at Front Door is a mystery visual novel made in Ren’py with puzzle elements that explores the feeling of paranoia and the anxiousness that accompanies it. The day after her stalker dies, the female protagonist receives a package with no sender---the contents of the package are unknown and the fear of what it might hold keeps the protagonist from investigating further. Just a short while after the package arrives, visitors start to appear at her front door. However, these visitors aren't quite normal---there's always something slightly off. Through identification of their abnormalities and careful interrogation, the intentions of the visitors and their association with the package become clearer. Interrogation requires tact in order to avoid making the visitors aware of your suspicions. If you want to know the truth about the package, you need to know more about the visitors. If you want to know more about the visitors, you need to pay close attention.
This version of the game is a short demo of a game that we intend on expanding. It contains the introduction monologue, allowing the player to understand the setting and introduces the first visitor. The current version teaches players how to identify an abnormality and tactfully interrogate the visitor.
